Volume 2 continues the saga of this incredible 91-day voyage across European, Middle Eastern, and Far Eastern ports. High points of this book reviews ports in Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and India, all in the Far East. We then journeyed to Oman and Jordan, visiting al-Aqabah and Petra. We then journeyed through the Suez Canal to Italy, Corsica, then to ports in Spain, to Southhampton, England, and finally to the city of Rotterdam, where we had first begun the journey. As in Volume 1, I review the history of each stopping point, reflecting on its unique culture and people, while visiting local sights of wonder. This journey was for me as a kind of vast exploration of the world, a way to share this time with others. I hope I've done justice to the experience. It changed my outlook in life as I ponder the vastness of humanity across the span of a vast territory.

Buku ini saya kasih judul, Perjalanan Religi Haji dan Umroh, yang isinya kisah perjalanan selama haji dan Umroh rombongan 8 kloter 25 JKG tahun 2022. Keinginan menulis buku Haji dan Umroh berdasarkan pengalaman empirik sosiologis dengan perspektif fiqih, sebenarnya sudah terlintas sejak haji pertama tahun 2007. Hanya saja, beberapa kali ke Makah dan Madinah untuk pelbagai keperluan dari tahun 2007, 2013, dan 2018, belum juga niat itu kesampaian. Mungkin tahun 2013 dan 2018, cuaca masih bersahabat dan masih nyaman untuk jalan-jalan dan melihat-lihat mall, sehingga nyaris justeru tidak ada waktu untuk menulis dan banyak terlena untuk jalan-jalan atau silturrahim mengunjungi famili atau sahabat yang kebetulan tahun-tahun itu sama-sama naik haji.
